Lucas Little was involved in a car accident on May 27. He was admitted to intensive care in critical condition with brain trauma, as well as other extensive injuries. He passed away Wednesday night, June 16, 2010 with his parents holding his hands and letting God take him into His. We greatly appreciate your prayers for healing on his behalf. We believe God answered them with the ultimate healing. With great love, Burnie, Tina, and Spencer
We are still here, praying and believing in God's power to heal. I'm sure that I am not the only one who checks in here the first thing every morning (right after my Bible time), the last thing before I go to bed and multiple times during the day. We are here to pray and support you as best we can. More importantly, God is here to love and support you. He will never leave you or forsake you.

I reflected on when Mary was faced with watching her son, our Lord, Jesus suffer on the cross that Friday afternoon. How she wanted him to come down from the cross to remain with them. But she realized that God's will must be done and be put above her wishes.

Burnie, your family remains in my prayers. I know that lucas can feel your love, whatever state his mind is in. We love him because God created him, and we place Lucas in the arms of the Lord. May the Holy Spirit do a mighty work in the sould and mind of Lucas Little, and may God's omnipotence, grace, and power reside over your beautiful son. We place all of the glory, honor and faith in our God, and accept his will as our fate. Holy spirit we ask that you banish the evil one and breathe life into Lucas, so that he may glorify You in the years to come. In His holy name, Amen.

ReplyDelete"Let the name of God be blessed forever and ever,
For wisdom and power belong to Him.
21 "It is He who changes the times and the epochs;
He removes kings and establishes kings;
He gives wisdom to wise men
And knowledge to men of understanding.
22 "It is He who reveals the profound and hidden things;
He knows what is in the darkness,
And the light dwells with Him.
23 "To You, O God of my fathers, I give thanks and praise,
For You have given me wisdom and power;
Even now You have made known to me what we requested of You,
For You have made known to us the king's matter."
Just as God gave wisdom to the servants of old, He gives it to those now who earnestly seek it. He gives the wisdom, and He gives peace as well.
He also gives the increase to seeds that you, Tina and others have so faithfully planted in Lucas. His Word will not return void. I trust that His Spirit is ministering to Lucas even in this state, and that as long as there is breath, Lucas can commune with his heavenly Father on a plane that we can not understand.

As much as we are all praying for Lucas, you, Tina, Spencer and the others whom you've mentioned, how great to know that One even greater is praying the perfect prayer that gets taken directly to the Throne!

26 Likewise the Spirit also helps in our weaknesses. For we do not know what we should pray for as we ought, but the Spirit Himself makes intercession for us with groanings which cannot be uttered. 27 Now He who searches the hearts knows what the mind of the Spirit is, because He makes intercession for the saints according to the will of God
Praying without ceasing for Lucas and your family.

Lord--please hear in heaven and act--reach down and heal Lucas' brain tonight. Please rouse him from his sleep and help him to wake up. Please hear the prayers of so many on Lucas' behalf, and act quickly.
When you feel your hand begin to tingle, it is because I am holding it so tightly as I pray for Lucas and all those who love him.
ReplyDeleteaway from a computer last week but continued to pray for Lucas !
