Thank you

We would like to thank everyone for your prayers and words of encouragement during the last 3+ weeks. This has been the most difficult trial in our life and we are still grieving, so please continue to pray we will have God's peace that surpasses all understanding.  I am convinced that while now we are wounded and bleeding and hurting, Jesus will heal us, as He healed our son. We will have scars, but they will no longer bleed.

Our many thanks for making our son's memorial service such a beautiful tribute to his life. For those who planned and provided and attended or were otherwise with us in your thoughts and prayers, you are so special to us.

For those who asked about further contact information, the email address for this blog, prayingforlucas@clanlittle.us will forward to my email.

We love you.

Let all that you do be done in love. (1 Corinthians 16:14)

God is good.

  1. Burnie, Tina my thoughts are with Lucas, his image is so clear in my mind. Again i must say that you are such remarkable persons. Lucas was blessed with you being his parents. I will pray to god every day to heal your hearts and ease your sorrow. Burnie I got your wards about Isiah 53 with open heart,I feel that the followers of the old testimony should respect the prophesy of Isiah and the fulfillment of it.You must understand that Judaism to me is more than it is a religion it is my identity. Judaism + being an Israeli are what defines me. It is like you being Americans. Yet you so kindly and gently showed me that there is no contradiction between my Jews Identity to the glorious legacy of Jesus, on the contrary they over lap. Thank you for that, I respect the strength of your faith.

  2. Burnie, I want to thank you for creating a blog that so sensitively and appropriately allowed others to accompany you, even from a geographic distance, these past weeks. It meant more than you know.

  3. Continued love and prayers for your family. We are friends of Francis and Bonnie Smith and that is how we became prayer warriors for Lucas. We know that God will hold you so close in the difficult days to come. He is good. He keeps His promises. May His peace surround you in such a powerful way that you will be ever-mindful of His presence.

  4. I'm still praying for you daily, Burnie, Tina and Spencer. How privileged I feel to know and love you all... and I echo Patrick's words above. I just wish I could have met your other precious son, Lucas; however, there's the hope of Heaven where I will have that joy!
    Much love in Christ,
    Betsy C.

  5. You all are in my prayers every day. And if you ever feel like writing about how you guys are doing through this time, I'm sure many people would like to hear...and maybe know how to pray more specifically.

    Big hug--Jean
